Black and white photo strip with four pictures of a woman and a young girl. In the first two photos, they're close together, smiling and looking at the camera. The third photo shows them smiling brightly, with the girl hugging the woman. The fourth photo captures the girl looking downward, with her head tilted and hair falling over her face.

my approach

i have a passion for capturing people, just as beautiful as they are & where they are. I would like to invite you into my process where nothing is forced, just pure flow. emotions captured in snapshots, where memories linger within each frame.

most people feel uncomfortable in front of the camera (me included!) i't’s important to me that you feel at ease and have an enjoyable experience!

my inspiration

light - humans - nature

inspired by my mom, (please read her story here) - i think with loss comes the gift of appreciated human connection. it’s what i love capturing the most. i am moved by how humans show their affection - a tear, a hand hold, a kiss. it’s beautiful to watch your loved ones show up on the day you decide to cement your love.
i love watching humans be humans in their most beautiful and authentic expressions - candid & honest.

my philosophy

value authenticity | rooted in the belief that true beauty of a wedding lies in the authentic, unscripted moments that unfold naturally. a hand hold, a tear, a burst of laughter. humans being humans.

power of storytelling | creating artistic & honest images that portray the emotions and energy of the day with each photograph.

being of service | being present, observant, and respectful, all while capturing the beauty and uniqueness of each individual love story.

People dressed up in formal attire gather in a sunlit room with large windows and sliding glass doors, with some standing outdoors. A woman in a green dress with feather details sits at a table, while a couple stands nearby, and two men in tuxedos sit at the table.

  • My home is Orange County, CA. I am available for travel!
I offer travel discounts for weddings in/around Butte County, CA.

  • This is so common & you are not alone in this. I will capture the synergy that already exists between you two. I will make it enjoyable. If you are getting married & are particularly nervous about it, I recommend scheduling an engagement shoot to help you build a relationship with your photographer prior to the day of the wedding.

  • In a nutshell: candid photography. I have a passion for spotting those unexpected, spontaneous moments that truly encapsulate the spirit of the occasion. Whether it's the anticipation of a joyous laugh or a heartfelt tear, I thrive on discovering those quirky, out-of-the-ordinary instances that bring a unique flair—like a stray cat sauntering through a dinner party or the beautiful chaos of people just being themselves.

  • I embrace the best of both worlds! You’ll often spot me sporting 4-5 cameras around my neck, each ready to capture the unique spirit of your special day. I strive to create galleries that burst with variety and exude a heartfelt, scrapbook-like charm, as if each image were crafted by hand.

  • I use film very intuitively. Some moments call for film, some moments call for digital. To help with my creative process, I do not give myself a limit on how much film I am aloud to use. Film is supposed to be fun - so I let myself have fun with it.

  • Not to dance around it but, I prefer to embrace the uniqueness of each session rather than sticking to strict minimums or maximums. I will not withhold any viable images that speak to the story. Every experience has its own vibe, and that reflects in the number of photos captured. For instance, a family session might yield anywhere from 100-200 images, while a wedding could generate a treasure trove of memories. As a ballpark figure, I'd estimate around 100 images an hour (or more!).

  • 2 weeks for smaller sessions like families & couples. Weddings are delivered around 12 weeks with a sneak peek gallery delivered once film is developed and scanned post celebration (about 2 weeks).
