meet clayton & biz. these two are the definition of living fully. in between planning a wedding, they’ve taken on the wildly ambitious project of renovating their victorian home perched high on a pacifica hill. i call it luxury living, not because of the house (currently stripped down to bare bones, no walls in sight), but because just down the road sits the only beachfront taco bell in the world.

after a year working in alaska, they’ve returned to california and, for now, call their airstream in the front yard “home.” when they showed me through the victorian’s skeleton frame, i knew instantly how special it would be to photograph them there - sitting together in the stillness of a house that isn’t yet built, but already holds the spirit of “building a life together.”

later, we wandered into a hillside bursting with queen anne’s lace, glowing in the golden california light above the pacific ocean. we laughed, explored new trails, and i somehow turned into a walking book club, passionately oversharing about demon copperhead (have you read it yet?). it felt less like a session, more like an adventure — and such an honor to document this chapter of their story. cannot wait for their wedding in october!
